Law Student

Our office offers summer / winter internship for law students.  Our internship offers you an opportunity to get a feel for working in a law firm. You may  have opportunities to:

• assist with legal research;
• drafting legal documents;
• meet and observe in our client's interview
• attend a range of informal talks to discover more the legal industry. 

We welcome applications from first year to penultimate year law undergraduates in Australia.

If you perform well on the internship, you may be offered a training contract.

This position is ideal for a junior solicitor who is admitted in Australia or law graduate who is seeking for a PLT opportunities with a keen interest in Australian, property, commercial and migration law. 

To be successful in this role you must:

About the Role

Responsibilities:

• Conducting legal research and analysis;
• Drafting legal documents and contracts;
• Assisting with client meetings;
• Providing legal advice and guidance to clients;
• Managing cases from start to finish; and
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to different Australian legal matters.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; and
• be eligible/ to be admitted as an Australian lawyer.
